South Africa

A continent’s worth of possible holidays in a single country, South Africa redefines diversity. From safaris and hiking to gastronomy and beach escapes, the options are endless.

Cape Town is a natural starting point for any trip but can also be an entire holiday in its own right. Similarly, the Greater Kruger offers some of the highest wildlife densities in Africa, meaning a safari here delivers like nowhere else.

And in between these two extremes of the country, you will find nature reserves, vineyards, boutique properties, hiking trails, coastlines and much more – all waiting to be explored.

When to Go

Thanks to the country spanning several different climatic zones, South Africa is a true year-round destination. Cape Town is best visited during its summer between November and February, whereas Kruger and the east of the country experience a dry winter between May and September, making for fantastic wildlife viewing.
