South Africa

A continent’s worth of possible holidays in a single country, South Africa redefines diversity. From safaris and hiking to gastronomy and beach escapes, the options are endless.

Zimbabwe

Home to the thundering majesty of Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe is often seen as synonymous with this natural wonder. But there is far more to this complex country.

Zambia

Often referred to as the home of the walking safari, Zambia is one for safari purists. Few places offer an unadulterated, immersive wildlife experience quite like it.

Botswana

Thanks to a strange quirk of nature, this desert country explodes with life at its green heart. The Okavango Delta is the jewel in Botswana’s crown – one of the last true African wildernesses.

Namibia

Artfully sculpted by wind, water and time, Namibia is decorated with dramatic landscapes from border to border. Its sparsely populated desert interior is perfect for exploring by 4×4.

Mozambique

With a coastline stretching thousands of kilometres along the Indian Ocean, it should be little surprise that Mozambique is renowned for its beautiful beaches.

East Africa

Kenya

Its claim to have invented the safari may be contested, but Kenya has certainly mastered it. Few places rival the Masai Mara for wildlife, where exclusive conservancies allow you to escape the crowds.

Tanzania

Synonymous with safari, Tanzania is a country of big landscapes and big game. The vast plains of the Serengeti teem with predators and prey, as the Great Migration plays out in front of tented camps.

Uganda

From snow-capped peaks to dense jungles, this small country crams in a remarkable range of habitats. But it is Uganda’s forests that hide its real treasures – home to both mountain gorillas and chimpanzees.

Rwanda

Reborn after being torn apart by the dark events of 1994, Rwanda is a country now brimming with optimism and beauty. Its volcanic north hides endangered mountain gorillas, the highlight of any trip here.
