Days 1-3: Eastern Highlands
Take to the skies by helicopter for a breath-taking arrival in Zimbabwe’s mountainous Eastern Highlands, where you’ll land amid the lush tea plantations of Honde Valley. Upon landing, your guide will welcome you with a picnic lunch and the opportunity for a memorable photo by the iconic Msasa tree. Over the following days, you’ll explore the captivating landscapes of Nyanga National Park and visit all the standout locations from the show, with your evenings spent in comfort at the elegant Sky Deck Mountain Retreat.
Days 3-4: Harare
Travel by road with your guide, with a pitstop at Froggy Farm mountain stand and visit to downtown Harare. Overnight at Highlands House, as featured in “One for the Road”
Days 4-6: Mana Pools
Start your day with an exclusive, behind-the-scenes tour of Patrick Mavros’ home studio before boarding a flight to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Mana Pools National Park. Enjoy a luxurious safari experience at the exquisite Chikwenya Safari Lodge, located with a private concession within the park. Explore this natural landscape in style, seeking out big game by foot, vehicle, and boat.
Day 6-8: Lake Kariba
Fly from Mana Pools to Kariba on a scenic shared charter, where your private houseboat will be ready to welcome you. Spend the next two days exploring the iconic Lake Kariba, enjoying fishing and leisurely cruises in comfort.
Day 8-10: Victoria Falls
Conclude your journey with a scenic flight over the full length of Lake Kariba, landing at Victoria Falls Airport. From there, arrive at the historic Victoria Falls Hotel. Take in the iconic sights, including a sunrise tour of the bridge, a guided walk around the falls, and a drink at the hotel bar.
