Our Suggestion

Kenya Safari

Introduction

Spot critically endangered rhinos in pioneering community conservancies before immersing yourself in the vast plains of the Masai Mara, where iconic lion prides stalk their prey.

Combining two very different areas of Kenya, this trip promises plenty of wildlife and beautiful landscapes. Beginning in Laikipia, with its unique northern species and rewilded landscapes, you then continue south to the Masai Mara with its wealth of big game and bigger skies.

Where to Stay

Kenya is home to a wide range of camps and lodges, but our favourites are those positioned within private conservancies. These afford exclusivity, while also supporting the local community and wildlife populations.

This suggestion is based on using the Kicheche camps, which are some of our favourites. Renowned for their intimate feel and high level of guiding, they are some of the finest camps in Africa.

If You Have More Time

Kenya is packed with fantastic national parks, meaning the options are endless for extending your trip. Amboseli, Tsavo and Samburu all offer completely different experiences.

Alternatively, you can wind down with some time on the Kenyan Coast, or even go a little further afield and head across the border to Zanzibar.
