Where to Stay

This suggestion focuses on the highlight of any trip to Botswana – the Okavango Delta. It is designed to combine two of our favourite places to stay, Kwara Camp and Lagoon Camp.

Both of these small and beautifully created camps are positioned within private concessions, meaning that you have exclusive access to a vast expanse of wilderness.

If You Have More Time

The Okavango Delta is renowned for being a wetland paradise in an otherwise desert-covered country. Therefore, Botswana has plenty to offer in the way of contrasting experiences, including the Makgadikgadi Pans, the Kalahari Desert or the Mashatu Game Reserve.

Victoria Falls is also within easy reach or you can combine with time spent in South Africa, perhaps adding a few days in Cape Town.
